This Christmas season, from November 23rd – December 31st, all donations to Alpha Canada will be doubled so that thousands more lives are transformed by the gospel of Jesus.

Give a Christmas Gift to Alpha

God has been at work across our nation

Watch Lisa’s story below

Lisa from London, Ontario grew up in a family that didn’t believe in God…or anything really.

Stress, fear, anxiety and issues of control were constantly present in her life. She reached a point where she felt not being alive might be better and was in a deep dark hole that was incredibly difficult to climb out of. She started to go to church but kept to herself and tried to stay under the radar.

She attended an Alpha shortly after and experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit on the Alpha Weekend. She invited Jesus into her life and since then everything has changed for her.

“Since welcoming Jesus, it’s like everything’s changed. Life is amazing. Life is so good. I’m full of joy.”

Lisa, Alpha Guest

These are exciting days and we believe there is an opportunity like never before to share the hope of the gospel in every corner of our nation.

Thanks to generous friends of Alpha, all donations during the Christmas season will be doubled with a $300,000 matching gift.

That means your donation will go twice as far in helping ensure Alpha resources are free and accessible to churches and communities across the country!

Please consider giving this Christmas as we continue to serve and equip the church to reach more people with a message of hope through Alpha.

Why give a monthly donation?

When you give monthly to Alpha, you become part of the incredible story of God building his church in Canada. Our work helps thousands of churches across the country run Alpha every year. A monthly gift enables us to equip them to give someone the opportunity to do Alpha in their local community and hear the gospel of Jesus for free.

Through November 23rd – December 31st, 2021 your first monthly donation will be matched!

What will my Christmas match gift go towards?

Your generosity will help us provide the best resources for churches to share the gospel effectively, creating life-changing experiences for guests and transforming church communities across Canada.

Help thousands of people explore a relationship with Jesus through Alpha in person or online.

In an effort to find a place for his friend, who was an atheist but curious about Christianity, to ask questions about faith, Shawn became an online Alpha leader. He invited 20 friends, eight stayed for the whole course and four became Christians!

Equip the church in Canada to reach their communities with the gospel during a global pandemic.

Since March 2020, we started training churches to run Alpha online. At that first online training, we had over 480 leaders attend and since that time 4,000 leaders have been trained, leading to over 2,000 online Alphas! Forest City Community Church in London, ON is just one of these church communities impacted by running Alpha online.

Empower Christians to share their faith in every corner of Canada and around the world.

Churches are equipping their communities to run Alpha in small groups for their friends, family and neighbours. This strategy is helping create new and multiplying small groups, and making disciples who make disciples. Watch the Village Church story to see how Alpha in small groups is making an impact.

Give to Alpha and help see the church in Canada reach millions of people and introduce them to a personal relationship with Jesus.
