However, even with these challenges, they continue to share Jesus with their friends! An amazing story that came out of Calgary is of a group of students across different churches who joined together to run Alpha online. The online space helped create a community for youth who were feeling isolated and alone and gave them a chance to ask questions about life, faith and God.

Nick grew up in the church but rejected his faith and walked away from Jesus in his late teens. He was invited to an Alpha online and Jesus radically transformed his life.
Our desire was to respond to the needs of the church as quickly as possible and so on March 26th, 13 days after in-person gatherings came to a grinding halt, we started training churches to run Alpha online. At that first webinar, we had over 480 leaders attend and since that time 4000 leaders have participated in our webinars leading to over 2000 Alphas online!
